She was predeceased by: her grandmothers, Bonnie Dayton and Armatha Furbay; and her aunts, Jamie Ann Dayton and Kelly Dayton. She is survived by: her parents, Roger Smith and Tracey Smith of Unionport, Ohio.; her brother Christopher Smith (April) of Unionport; her grandfather Kenneth Dayton of Bloomingdale; her nieces and nephews, Jeremy (Allie), Shyann, Mackenzie, Letty and Colt; her great-nephews, Jeremy, Kol and Zackaria; and her cousins, Zachary Dayton and Madison Dayton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home (172 S Main St, Cadiz, OH 43907). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and honoring Shawna's love for her cats and animals, donations may be made to the Jefferson County Humane Society, 200 Airpark Drive, Wintersville, Ohio 43953.
