Joyce L. George Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce L. George of Uniontown, Ohio, who passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean F. "Bud" DeLong and Jean DeLong (McGaffic); her sister Jane Ann Hammond; her brother-in-law Jim Swoger; and her father-in-law Rev. Paul Dean George.
She is survived by: her husband Rev P. Douglas George; her children, Rev. P. Wesley George (Susan) of Dover, OH, Jonathan George (Emily) of Massillon, OH, Amanda Brubaker and Sean of Ellwood City, PA; her grandchildren, Rachel Eden Brubaker, Katelynn Grace George, Lydia Jane Brubaker, Melody Eve George, Magdalene Joy Brubaker, Michael Dean George, Amelia Charity George and Adeline Faith George; her sister Amy Swoger; and her mother-in-law Margaret George.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Boyce Church (2 Anna St, East Liverpool, OH 43920).
