He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Mears and Grace Mears. He is survived by: his wife Janet Albert Mears; his children, Gregory Mears (Beth) and Julie Powell (Kevin); his grandchildren, Ben Mears, Brady Mears, Michael Powell (Havvah), Matthew Powell (Emily), Karissa Agosta (Tyler) and Kyle Powell (Madeline); his great grandchildren, Elisha, Elia-Lynn, Avishi, Amitai, Emma, Ezra, Elias and Georgia Mae; and his siblings, Lucy Hess, David Mears (Peggy), Fred Mears and Gloria Ruby (Gordon).
