He was predeceased by: his parents, James Morris and Mallie Morris (Adams); his former wife Roberta (Newberger); and his brother Danny Morris. He is survived by: his wife Susan Morris; his son Raymond Morris; his stepdaughters, Nicole Coffield (Josh) and Karen Shellenbarger (Ben); his grandchildren, Josh, Brayden Coffield, Sammy, Mirra Shellenbarger, Lydia and Collin Parsons; his brothers, James "Smokey" Morris and Christopher Morris; his nieces and nephews, Autumn Racher (Ross), Kyla Morris, Kelly Coffman, Marlena Bane (Rick), Darryl Morris (Jennifer), Chris Jr. "Butch" Morris (Scarlett) and Wade Morris; and his sisters-in-law, Gail Morris and Kim Cole. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Fop Lodge No. (2610 Ley Dr, Akron, OH 44319). During the COVID-19 pandemic, he put that same creative spirit into writing and published his first book, Twin Lakes Vortex.
