We bid farewell to Larry G. Swindell of Uniontown, Ohio, born in Huntsville, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 3, 2025 at the age of 84. Larry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He is survived by: his wife Doretta Carr; his sons, Jeff and Mark; his grandchildren, Zach (Ashley), Lauren (Dom), Meredith (Dirk), Amanda (Tyler) and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Owen, Aria and Adalynn; his siblings, Terry (Alice) and Samantha (Steve); his sister-in-law Darlene; his siblings' children, Craig, Michael and Najoi; and his great-nephews, Jeffrey and Riley.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Arlington Church of the Nazarene (1057 Triplett Blvd, Akron, OH 44306). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
