He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Sr. Shahan and Mary Shahan; his wife Sally; his sister Yvonne Minear; and his great grandchild Charles Cyrus Hughes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tracey McCrea (Bill), Kimberly Cole (Jim) and Jaclyn Darrah (Stan). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; many cousins, friends, neighbors, former coworkers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home - Green Chapel (4178 Massillon Rd, Uniontown, OH 44685). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Woods Cemetery (3170 Edison St NW, Uniontown, OH 44685).
