She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. White; her parents, Jerry Hammer and Gerry Hammer; and her brother Michael Hammer (Liz Rutherford Hammer). She is survived by: her children, R. Matthew White (Lauren) and Jennifer M. Brooks (Matthew); and her siblings, Sherry Schmidt (Bob Warshawsky), Lynn Zettelmeyer (Bob), Joan Penote (John), Kathryne Hammer (Radu Tenenbaum), Barb Storey (Pat), A. J. Hammer (Karen), Pete Hammer (Pep) and Laura Miller (Fred). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Above all else, she never missed an opportunity to spend time with her friends and family, her children, and to be "Gammie."In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to something important to you in Michelle's name, because she supported everything that was important to us.
