We announce the death of Pauline R. Makris of Upper Arlington, Ohio, who passed away on August 10, 2026, at the age of 93. Pauline will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Pauline’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Rozakis and Thespina Rozakis. She is survived by: her husband John E. Makris; her sons, George Makris of Columbus and Thomas Makris (Ellen) of Cincinnati; and her grandchildren, Johnny, Mark and Stephanie.
Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
