He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Frey and Mary Ann Frey (Hunkele); his grandson Elliot Frey; and his siblings, Gerald, Herman, Jerome Jr., Miriam Vent, Edwin "Bud", Rosalie Pahl, Agatha Thomas, Sister Noel, Wilfred and Norman.
He is survived by: his children, Karina Garber (Greg) of Upper Sandusky, Kim Rall (Steve) of Upper Sandusky, Brad Frey (Susanna) of Upper Sandusky and Ryan Frey (Suzanne) of Sunbury; his grandchildren, Wyatt Garber (Jill), Zoe Garber, Jordan Rall (Jessica), Drew Rall (Tricia), Travis Rall (Michelle), Hannah VanHeck (Brian), Annalee Sprang (Eric), Chelsea Fox (Tim), Clare Frey, Audrey Frey and Gabe Frey; his great grandchildren, Vivian, Kyle, Kendall, Makenna, Karlee, Maren, Atlee, Grant, Emery, Briar, Cy, Eleanor, Mack, Crew, Kam, Rowe, Abel, Asher, Asa and Olena; and his brothers, Fred and Norbert Frey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lord Catholic Church (225 N 8th St, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
