She is survived by: her husband Edward Carpenter; her children, Kristen Carpenter (Bill Hudson) of Colorado and Bill Carpenter (Meredith Gruber) of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Jacob Hudson, Clare Hudson, Emma Carpenter and Eve Carpenter; and her uncle Gene Johnson of Florida.
