He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Swartz and Margaret Swartz (Hochrine); his sister Shirley Brown; and his nephews, Tim Brown and Glenn Brown.

He is survived by : his nephews, Jeff Brown (Alda) of Brownstown, Mike Brown (Yvonne) of Nevada and Jamie Brown (Paula) of Nevada.
