We announce the death of JoAnn Gongwer of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on August 17, 2026, at the age of 93. JoAnn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Albert and Mildred Ruth Jury (Harris); her children, Ronald Gongwer and Terry Gaietto; her granddaughter Holly Gongwer; and her siblings, Ted Jury, Lucille Koch, Gwen Graham and Betty McCarty.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Gongwer; her children, Dale Gongwer (Sue) of Sycamore and Patricia Conrad (Tim) of Harpster; and her grandchildren, Michael Gongwer, Jamie Shane, Payton Conrad and Cassidy Conrad.
