She was predeceased by: her parents, Devore Powers and Olive Powers (Watts); her husband Grove "Bud" Welch; and her siblings, Donald Powers, James Powers and Dolores Pfleiderer.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Thompson (Craig), Mitchell Welch (Dyana), Roberta Lewis (Robert) and Dee Carter; and her grandchildren, Charlene Dimerling (Thompson), Carrie Thompson, Carla Shamblen (Thompson), Monica Gerhart (Welch), Michael Welch, Jacqueline Devine (Lewis), Samantha Lewis and Todd Carter.
Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Hospice of Wyandot Memorial Hospital, or the Upper Sandusky Color Guard.
