She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Bob" Thomas and Marilyn R. Thomas (Myers); her brother Kevin Thomas; her nephew Kevin Thomas; and her niece Jenny Karg.
She is survived by: her daughter Jessica Penwell (Pelfrey-Messmer) of Upper Sandusky; her stepson Matthew Anderson of Marion; her grandchildren, Keaton, Kinzie and Maleena Messmer; her stepgrandchildren, Courtney (Michael McClain), Madalyne and Cameron Anderson; and her siblings, Denny Thomas (Linda) of Harpster, Debbie Thomas of Upper Sandusky, Brad Thomas (Donna) of Harpster, Brandon Thomas of Upper Sandusky and Brenda Thomas of Upper Sandusky. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
