It is with sadness that the passing of Mary K. Kottyan of Upper Sandusky, Ohio is shared. Mary, born on October 29, 1939, passed away on October 1, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary K. Kottyan to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward J. Kottyan; her daughter Laura Dale Achtermann; her sister Marlene Crall; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Crall, Joseph Kottyan, Mary Kottyan and Rosalie Droll.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Achtermann (Faith) and Tracey Achtermann (Julie); her grandchildren, Joseph Achtermann (Erin), Jordan Achtermann (Khrista), Kya Achtermann (Jon Furbush), Renee Hicks (Drake), Kennedy Crawford (Chase) and Madison French (Kyle); and her great grandchildren, Kennedy, Colton, Olivia, Kalahan, Andreas, Mila, Luca, Charlee, Cameron, Claire, Elizabeth, Aubrie and Logan. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:20 AM at the Good Hope Lutheran Church (129 W Charles St, Bucyrus, OH 44820). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are encouraged to be made payable to Wyandot County Home, Upper Sandusky Community Library, or Good Hope Lutheran Church.
