He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth McKee and Nyla Jane McKee (Kissling). He is survived by: his wife Jennifer; his daughters, Jacqueline McKee (Robert Haussler) and Jennifer Shoaf (Mark); his stepchildren, Lindsey Lewis (Joe), Lorraine Zaenger (Joel) and Darby Walton (Caroline); his siblings, Steven McKee, Robert McKee (Bonnie), Julianne Laudenslager (Chuck), Ila Lynch (Dan), Paula LeBrum (Ken) and Lela Sanders; and his stepmother Georgianna Holzwart. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
