He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Elden and Shirley Ellen Shifflet (Kiehl); and his wife Rhonda Fite. He is survived by: his children, Jeromey "J. J." Shoemaker of Oklahoma, Jordan Shoemaker (Elizabeth) of North Baltimore, Teal Shifflet (Cole Bland) of Upper Sandusky and Tessa Shifflet of Findlay; his grandchildren, Phoenix, Drake, Aiyana, Xerick, Elliena, Lunera, Ziva, Oskar, Violet, Tehya and Benjamin; his siblings, Evonne Shifflet, Matt and John Hotelling; and his pet Lilly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
