He was predeceased by: his parents, George Elliott and Lillian Elliott (Salmon); his stepson Jason Wones; his siblings, Ray Thompson and Mary Nadine Honeycutt; his granddaughter Carlee Josephine Wones; and his great grandchild Jadalynn Kay Rose Mowers.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley L. Elliott (Slough); his grandchildren, Jaslynn Wones and Jase Wones; and his siblings, Flora Pope (Alex), Dee Shipley (Kent), Terry Elliott (Cindy) and Lori Lee Elbert (Dan). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home and Crematory (830 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
