She was predeceased by: her parents, William Nolan Gibson, Sr. and Sylvia Gibson (Weese); her husband Telford C. Blackburn; her brothers, Bob and David Gibson; her daughter Catherine Elizabeth McMannis (Charlie); her granddaughter Danielle Ellen Wynne; and her stepson Todd Blackburn.

She is survived by: her siblings, Shirley Dozer and Willam Nolan Gibson Jr. (Laura); her children, Daniel Martin (Beverly), Connie Evans (Tony) and Thomas Martin (Valerie); and her stepson Ty Blackburn (Angie). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
