He is survived by: his wife Teresa Ann Batterton Smith; his daughters, Amber Hoffman, Danyel John and Justine Michelle John; his mother Alice Cotrill; his sisters, Paula Sue Jesse, Debra Reynolds, Loretta DeRemer (Bill), Diana Goodwind and Cheryl King; his sister-in-law Bobie Batterton; and his pet Kallie. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
