He was predeceased by: his parents, George Andrew and Ann Francis Stanfel (Matkovich); and his wife Mary Louise Stanfel (Kennedy). He is survived by: his children, Thomas Stanfel (Kelly Desmarais) and Patricia Jackson (Jeffrey); and his grandchildren, Austin, Madison Hayes, Rachel Desmarais, Joel Jackson (Brittany), Brandon Jackson (Brooke) and Brock Jackson. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Vernon Funeral Home (235 Miami St, Urbana, OH 43078). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
