We bid farewell to Martha Jane Streator (Urbana, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 22, 2025 at the age of 79. Martha Jane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Martha Jane had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Martha Jane may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Bailey and Irene Bailey (Mossbarger); her brother Jim Bailey (Linda); and her brother-in-law Ed Hiltibran. She is survived by: her son Brent Streator; and her siblings, Marilyn Hiltibran, Jack Bailey (Louelle) and Richard Bailey (Ann). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Walter and Lewis Funeral and Cremation Center (642 S Main St, Urbana, OH 43078). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would encourage memorial contributions be made to the Champaign Cancer Association and The Urbana United Methodist Church.
