She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred H. Chrisman and Juanita Chrisman (Rickard); and her siblings, Fred Chrisman Jr., Louise Massie, Ronald Chrisman, Wanda McKeever and Larry Chrisman.

She is survived by: her children, Chuck Metherd of Urbana, Marilyn Metherd Adams of Urbana, Beth Metherd of Urbana and Jim Metherd of Osceola, Indiana; her grandchildren, Elijah Metherd (Jillian) of Georgetown, Sarah Holland (Greg) of Urbana, Josh Adams, Jesse Adams (Britnee) of Springfield and Samantha Metherd of Osceola, Indiana; her great grandchildren, Jay Adams, Julie Adams and Alexander Metherd; her sister Jean Runkle; and her sister-in-law Beverly Chrisman.
