He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion W. Overfield and Leola Overfield-Crawford (Sharp); his stepfather Bert Crawford; his wife Berneda Overfield (Holbrook); his sisters, Marilyn Smith-Strouse and Sue Adkins; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Smith, Milford Strouse and Joe Adkins.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Hanners (Terry) and Michael Overfield (Diane Buckler); and his granddaughter Carrissa Harford (Adam). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
