She is survived by: her parents, Van D. Evans and Mary M. Evans (Murphy); her husband Hakim Islam; her daughter India Islam; her sisters, Christie Evans Walton and Vanessa Evans Randolph (Jason); her parents-in-law, Maryam, Doug Lyon, Mustafaa and Gladys Islam; and her siblings-in-law, Ahmad Islam (Tanisha), Solomon Islam, Devon Lewis (Monica), Jameel Islam, Eida Mcshaw (Ty), Dianara Johnson (Lawrence) and Jayva Lewis. She is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews as well as 8 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the River of Life Christian Center (775 Washington Ave, Urbana, OH 43078). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
