It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George J. Weigel of Valley City, Ohio, who passed away on April 28, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Weigel and Josephine Weigel; his siblings, Eleanor Wuensch, Lois Nichols (Sam) and Arthur Weigel (Bud); and his grandson Richard Weigel (Ricky).

He is survived by : his wife Joy Weigel (Shaw); his children, Gary Weigel (Diane), Mary Keller, Mark Weigel and Susan Sims (Dewayne); his grandchildren, Ryan, Thomas, George, Maria, Jesse and Kyle; and his great grandchild Blake. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
