We announce the death of Janet Gray of Valley City, Ohio, who passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 80. Janet will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Heffelman and Agnes Heffelman; her husband Rodger Gray; and her sister Laurie Martin. She is survived by: her siblings, Sandra Lowry, Robert Heffelman and Daniel Heffelman; her children, Tim Santos (Larry Callahan) and Michelle Rhodes (Stanley Rhodes); and her stepchildren, Timothy Gray (Gina), Todd Gray (Kristi), Kathryn Labbe (Christopher) and Amy Hensley (Eric). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Carlson Funeral Home – Medina (3477 Medina Rd, Medina, OH 44256). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM at the Rose Hill Burial Park (3653 W Market St, Akron, OH 44333).
