He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Bladen and Elsie Bladen (Spivy); his wife Betty Bladen; his former wife Frances Poynter Bladen; and his sons, Charles Albert and Louis Edward Bladen.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth "Libby" Shell (Randy), Glenna Kelsey, Dave Bladen (Laurie), Robert Bladen (Kelly) and Stan Bladen; and his sisters, Betty Bradbury and Carol Ann Gates (Jim). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Wesley Church of Van Wert.
