He was predeceased by: his parents, Voyle R. Dudgeon and Audrey E. Dudgeon (Smith); and his siblings, John Dudgeon, Donald Dudgeon and Barbara Merkle.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Dudgeon (Thieme); his daughters, Deb Myers (George) of Senoia, Georgia, Karolyn Klever (Mike) of Lebanon, Ohio, Cindy Tinnel (Gary) of Convoy, Ohio and Kim Dowdy (Mike) of Van Wert, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Andrew Gibson, Adam Klever (Molly), Matthew Klever (Sam), Lucas Klever (Courtney McClutchy), Jacqueline Yarbrough (Coty), Nathaniel Mladenovic, Dustan Tinnel, Ashlee Featherston (Drew), Alexis Burdette (Zen), Aaron Dowdy and Amaya Dowdy; his great grandchildren, Zyrion Burdette, Joseph Klever and Zeniyah Burdette; his stepgrandchildren, Danielle Eydam (Eric) and Lance Myers (Beth); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lauren Eydam, Emily Eydam, Natalie Eydam, Will Eydam and Riley Myers Maddy Myers; his grandchildren, Mikeal Linton and Maxx Linton; and his in-laws, Suzanne Dudgeon, John Merkle, Mike, Anita Miller, Floyd, Jane Thieme and Sandy Springer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (6727 Convoy Rd, Convoy, OH 45832).
