We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2025, at the age of 83, Claudia S. McGhee of Van Wert, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert G. Green and Helen L. Green (Sherburn); her husband David LeRoy McGhee; and her brother Robert Green. She is survived by: her sons, Brian McGhee (Janeen Houtz) of Fort Wayne and Douglas McGhee of Butler, Indiana; her grandchildren, Ashley Patrizzi (Brain), Ian McGhee, Savonna McGhee and Nevaeh McGee; her great grandchildren, Eli and Ella; and her siblings, Brad Green of South Carolina and Cindy Wortman of Fort Wayne, Indiana..

Preferred memorials are to the Everheart Hospice Group of Greenville.

“I was so sorry to see of Claudia’s passing. She was always my adventurous role model growing up! From riding the tilt a whirl at the fair to going all the way to Texas to school! I have so many wonderful and happy memories of our families together as we grew up! Claudia was always laughing and finding the fun in life! Even as we moved to the care of aging parents, she was fiercely protective and proactive, still a role model! What a legacy she leaves behind!”
