He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard "Bill" Smith and Dorothy Smith (Stuckey). He is survived by: his wife Laura Smith (Crowley-Fitzsimmons) of Van Wert; his children, Erin Jones (Tim) of Van Wert, Luke Smith (Lula Caudill) of Mooresville, Cory Fitzsimmons of Van Wert and Valerie Fitzsimmons of Celina, Ohio; his grandchildren, Nick Fitzsimmons, Hayden Marsee (Cassidy Stoller), Delanei Jackson, Reide Jackson (Zada Walker), Jasmine Jones, Kalyssa Jones, Wesson Smith, Remington Smith, Samuel Smith and Layla Sterrett; his great grandchild Henzley Marsee; and his siblings, David Smith (Sarah) of Van Wert, Darlene Young (Ray) of Convoy and Lori Wilson (Jack) of Van Wert.
