It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna M. Kiehl of Van Wert, Ohio, who passed away on May 2, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Eugene Swartz and Lorene Ada Swartz (Ashbaugh); and her husband Herbert T. Kiehl. She is survived by: her children, Stan Kiehl (Nancy) of Matthews, Jerry Kiehl of Van Wert and Jill Graves (Bill) of Van Wert; and her grandchildren, Kerby Kiehl of Middletown, OH, Krista Pierce (Bryan) of Rome, GA, Dr. Nik (Felisha), Nashea Kiehl of Charlotte, NC, Blake Springer (Brittany) of Wingate, NC, Dr. Brooks Graves (Fredererique) of Rockwall, TX, Brock Graves, Chris Perry (Amber) of Windermere, FL and Steven Perry (Carrie) of Lebanon, TN. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cowan & Son Funeral Home (616 S Washington St, Van Wert, OH 45891). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Preferred memorials are to Trinity Friends Church or CHP Hospice of Van Wert.
