Edward left this world on November 30, 2025 at the age of 61, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Paul and Evelyn Knuth (Metler); his siblings, Bill Knuth, Ernie Jewell, Chuck Searfoss, Sonny Jewell, Bob Jewell, Darlene Dawson (Jewell), Jacque Jewell, Jilda Yoh (Searfoss), Helen Richardson (Jewell), Kathleen "Kitty" Jewell (Parks), Toni Baker (Searfoss) and Sophie "Sol" Jewell; and his nephew Mike Chesbro.

He is survived by: his children, Nicole Lee (Knuth), Chris Knuth and Amanda Trejo; his grandchildren, Makenzie Shock, Morgan Shock and Jainde Trejo; his siblings, Evelyn Mercer (Don), George Searfoss, Everett "Bud" Jewell (Marie) and Jessie Chesbro (Danny); his sister-in-law Lorna Jewell; and his cousin Sandy Oliver. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
