She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Scare and Ella Scare (Gerber); her son Will P. Wolfe; and her brothers, Elmer Scare, Ed Lane, Jerry Flueckiger and David Scare.
She is survived by: her children, Scott A. York of Jacksonville, Florida, Tina Marie Waldron of Van Wert, Ohio and Dane York Jr. (Kim) of Westerville, Ohio; her brother Phil Scare (Teresa) of Waterloo; her grandchildren, Krystal Henck (Cory), Karissa Wess (David), Katrina Jewell (Clayton) and Dante York; and her great grandchildren, Paisley, Karina, Roman, David and Levi. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home- Decatur (520 N 2nd St, Decatur, IN 46733). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Preferred memorials may be given to Saint Vincent DePaul Food Pantry.
