With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenda K. Schaadt of Van Wert, Ohio, who passed away on February 8, 2026 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Glenn Etzler and Dorothy Etzler; her stepfathers, Sylvester Grote and Ervin Klausing; her siblings, Gary Etzler (Linda) of Hubbard Lake, MI, Sue Stokes (Doc) of Middle Point, OH and Debra Hitchcock (Dewight) of Van Wert, OH.; her husband Kent J. Schaadt; her sons, Robert Sites (Josue) of Fort Lauderdale and Spencer Schaadt (Zoey) of Van Wert, Ohio.; and her grandchild Romy Wendyl Schaadt.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness in Glenda's memory. Glenda was a passionate supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and various social causes, and donations made in her honor are welcome.
