He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Ervin Dawson, Sr. and Carrie Marie Dawson (Stittsworth); his sister Alice Gerardot; and his sister-in-law Janet Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Fern Dawson (Ewald); his sons, Steven L Dawson (Cindy) of Wilmington and Mark C. Dawson of Van Wert; his grandson Auston L. Dawson; and his brothers, Wayne Dawson (Linda) of Van Wert, Donald E. Dawson, Jr. of Van Wert and Robert Dawson of Van Wert.
