James Sperry Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2025, at the age of 83, James Sperry in Van Wert, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Sperry to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma Sperry and Ralph Sperry. He is survived by: his wife Wanda; and his children, Chuck Sperry (Michelle) of Middle Point, Mike Sperry (Angie) of Van Wert, Julie Ortiz of Van Wert, Rhonda Perry of Van Wert, Melissa Friemoth (Tim) of Van Wert, Jennifer Dotson of Van Wert and Jamie Dotson of Harrod.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home Chapel (722 S Washington St, Van Wert, OH 45891). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 3:15 PM to 3:30 PM at the Ridge Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made in Jim's name to Redeemer Lutheran Church or to the Van Wert Humane Society.
