It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Knapke of Van Wert, Ohio, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on July 9, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Bill Knapke and Esther Knapke (Hartings); and his niece Rebekah Perez. He is survived by : his wife Nancy Knapke (James); his children, Rachel Sergent of Murrells Inlet, Drake Knapke of Van Wert and Dustin Fensler of Van Wert; his grandchildren, Hunter and Madelynn Sergent; his sister Linda Perez; his nephews, Bobby and Joe Perez; and his niece Angie Perez.
