She was predeceased by: her parents, Rumaldo Sr. Chavarria and Manuela Chavarria (DeLeon); and her stepdaughter Crystal. She is survived by: her husband Richard Vernon Felger Sr.; her sons, Ricky Felger of Ft Wayne, Indiana, Timothy Felger of Beechy and Milo Felger (Debbie) of Harlan; and her stepdaughters, Christina Davis of Syracuse, Indiana, Josephine Venanzi (Daniel) of Hendersonville, Maria Wayne (Anthony) of Greensboro, Georgia and Stephanie Peterson.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brickner Funeral Home (419 S Washington St, Van Wert, OH 45891). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church (601 Jennings Rd, Van Wert, OH 45891).
Memorials may be made to A Chosen Warrior, their credo being, "You don't choose your battle, but you do choose how you respond.". All donations will go to helping women with breast or ovarian cancer.
