It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth J Doner of Van Wert, Ohio, who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kenneth J Doner to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Doner and Ruth Doner (Ritchie); his daughter Debra Lynn; his sister Dorothy Weis; and his brothers-in-law, Don Weis, Roy Davis and William Weldy.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Soldner (William), Jeffrey Doner (Alan Van Dyne), Kathryn Staley (Craig), Thomas Doner and Julia Hamilton; his grandchildren, Katelynn Hovlid (Shawn), Chelsa Soldner (Ricky Garbrandt), Jacob Staley (Brooke), Celesta Soldner, Kyle Hamilton and Kody Hamilton; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Hailey Hovlid and Canaan Staley; and his sisters, Margaret Davis, Pauline Weldy, Eloise Thomas (Gary) and Nancy Niehoff (Richard).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (160 W Sycamore St, Van Wert, OH 45891). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials may be directed to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
