With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry L. Harris (Van Wert, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Leroy "Roy" and Ireta Harris (Miller); and his siblings, Carl Harris, Marilyn Evans, Carol Gockley and Clara Rice.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Boyd); his daughters, Tamali Pruden (Christopher) of Grover Hill and Lorali Todd (Michael) of Daytona Beach, Florida; his grandchildren, Ashley Pruden, Ryan Todd (Katelyn), Devin Pruden and Andrew Todd (Ashley); and his great grandchildren, Caroline, Madeline, Emmeline and Levi Todd.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory (722 S Washington St, Van Wert, OH 45891). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home and Crematory (722 S Washington St, Van Wert, OH 45891). A committal service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:05 PM at the Woodland Cemetery (10968 Woodland Ave, Van Wert, OH 45891).
Preferred memorials may be directed to Community Health Professionals-Hospice or Wesley Church of Van Wert.
