Larry Schoonover Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schoonover, Sr. and Emma Schoonover (Taylor) of Paulding, Ohio.; his stepfather Clifford Tyler Sr.; and his siblings, Frank Schoonover Jr., Clifford Tyler Jr. (Butch) and Gloria Felger.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Schoonover; his children, David Schoonover (Jeanine), Kimberly Metcalfe (Gary), Laura Schoonover, Karen Hershey and Valerie VanArtsdalen (Mike); his siblings, Tom Tyler of Shippenville, PA, Carolyn Murphey of Dallas, TX and Emma Raines of Van Wert; and his pets, Dapple and Duke. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ridge Cemetery (18294 Lincoln Hwy, Middle Point, OH 45863). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Van Wert American Legion.
