She was predeceased by: her parents, John Howden and Darlene Howden (Tatarnik); and her spouse Santos Mendez. She is survived by: her son Anthony D. Mendez (Brandy Leiber) of Ohio City; her grandchildren, Maxwell Mendez, Alexandria Saif (MO) and Preston; her great grandchildren, Malia Mendez and Aria Saif; and her brother Lorne Howden of Lima, Ohio..
A celebration of life was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cowan & Son Funeral Home (616 S Washington St, Van Wert, OH 45891).
