It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Loren J. Hurless of Van Wert, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 73, on April 23, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Loren shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Loren farewell, we carry with us the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding us through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George Edward and Imogene Louise Hurless (Feigert); and his brother Edward Ray Hurless. He is survived by : his son Kory K. Hurless (Jennifer) of Evansville, IN; his grandson Kaden Hurless; and his sister Rita K. Hurless of Van Wert.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cowan & Son Funeral Home (616 S Washington St, Van Wert, OH 45891). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Evangelical Protestant Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to NA of Lima or the Van Wert Humane Society.
