She was predeceased by : her parents, Perry Springer and Maude Springer; her husband Joe Cowgill; and her daughters, Janet Crowe and Sue Raney.

She is survived by : her children, Jerry Beard (Shirley) of Van Wert, James "Jim" Beard (Teresa) of Van Wert, Rick Beard (Debbie) of Van Wert and Evelyn Breece (Gerald) of Van Wert. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.
