He was predeceased by : his parents, C. C. "Pete" Hammons and Lela G. Hammons (Swartz); his daughter Karla Laukhuf; and his siblings, Charles Hammons (Corky), Donald Hammons and Lois Christman (Nick).
He is survived by : his wife Karen J. Hammons of Van Wert; his daughters, Kelly Jones (Gary) of Van Wert and Kris Tow (Brent) of Van Wert; his son-in-law Ross Laukhuf of Paulding; his grandchildren, Avery, Eli Jones, Bayley, Karter, Kreston Tow, Madeleine, Adrian, Stella and Lukas Laukhuf; his sister Linda Anderson (Bill) of Van Wert; and his sister-in-law Anna Hammons of Ft Jennings.
In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials may be directed to the Trinity Friends Church Food Pantry.
