He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Douglas; his sons, Kevin Silance (Jozette) of Pennville, IN and Steven Silance of Van Wert; his grandsons, Seth Silance (Trequjuan) of Van Wert and Ethan Silance of Van Wert; and his sister Opel Padrick of Jacksonville, NC..
