He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Whitt and Sylvia Whitt (Liddell); his parents-in-law, Dale, Sr. and Jane Stetler; his grandson Jaxton Maunz; and his sister Gwendolyn Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Sondra Whitt of Van Wert; his children, Jaclyn Whitt (Erick Maunz), Erica Mobley (Alyssa), Samantha Whitt (Charles Macklin) and Joshua Whitt (Melanie Keesler); his brothers, James Simpson (Robin), Michael Whitt and Bruce Whitt (Amy); and his grandchildren, Ryleigh, Raiden, Scarlett, Everett, Raelynn, Sadie, Miya, Ronin and Emberleigh.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory (722 S Washington St, Van Wert, OH 45891). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
