He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Atwood and Bertha Atwood; and his siblings, William Atwood and Nancy Briggs. He is survived by: his spouse Reha Atwood (Elston); his children, Renee Long (Robert) of Indianapolis, Indiana. and James Atwood (JoAnne); his grandson Ethan Atwood; and his daughter Deb Atwood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
