He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmanuel Chavarria and Doris Chavarria (Torres); his spouse Gale Marie Edsall; and his siblings, Joe Chavarria, Ponch Chavarria, Gina Dominguez and Nellie Rivera.
He is survived by: his sons, Joey Chavarria (Jen) of Brooksville and Marcus Chavarria of Nashville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Collin, Joey, Ricky, Bronson and Marlowe; and his brother Emmanuel Chavarria (Ana Olivia) of Akron, Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
